Hariharan is an Indian playback and ghazal singer, whose songs have been featured mainly in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Bhojpuri and Telugu films. He is one of the pioneers of Indian fusion music. Hariharan, associating with Lesle Lewis, formed Colonial Cousins. They have cut many private music albums and also scored music for few feature films in Tamil and Bollywood cinemas.

Veena (4 July 1926 – 14 November 2004), also known as Veena Kumari, real name Tajour Sultana, was an Indian actress. Veena was born as Tajour Sultana on 4 July 1926 in Quetta, Baluchistan, Pakistani. At some point of time, her family shifted to Lahore and she belonged to Lahore's Chuna Mandi.[1] She married actor-hero Al Nasir in 1947 and had two children. She started out playing heroine roles in pre-partition films. She made her debut with Garib and Gawandhi (1942) at around sixteen years of age. Garib was made in Urdu and Gawandhi was made in Punjabi and directed by Mehboob Khan. In Garib, she played the role of Lata and in Gawandhi she played heroine opposite Shyam, who played the hero. She became known for her roles in pre-partition Hindi and Urdu films. Her early years in films came with films such as Najma (1943), Phool (1945) and Humayun (1945). Her last film before the Partition of India was Rajputani (1946), in which she played a supporting role. She decided to remain in India after the partition, and she acted through the mid-to-late-1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and early 1980s. She played roles in big productions such as Halaku (1956), Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi (1958), Kaagaz Ke Phool (1959), Taj Mahal (1963) (for which she received the Filmfare's Award for Best Supporting Actress), Do Raaste (1969) and Pakeezah (1972). She retired in 1983 after the release of Razia Sultan (1983) in which she played Empress Shah Turkhan. She died in Bombay in 2004 after 21 years of retirement when she was 78 years old after suffering from a protracted illness. She had appeared in over 70 feature films in a career spanning 41 years (1942 till 1983).

Anupam Kher (born March 7, 1955) is an Indian actor, director and producer who works primarily in Hindi-language films. He has appeared in nearly 400 films and 100 plays. He has played a variety of characters including numerous critically acclaimed leading or parallel roles. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri in 2004 and the Padma Bhushan in 2016 for his contribution in the field of Indian cinema and arts. Kher is known internationally for Bend It Like Beckham (2002), Bride and Prejudice (2004) and The Mistress of Spices (2005). In 2012, he co-starred in the Academy Award-winning Silver Linings Playbook.

Nutan Samarth Bahl (4 June 1936 – 21 February 1991), known mononymously as Nutan, was an Indian actress who worked primarily in Hindi films for nearly four decades. Her films ranged in genres, establishing her as a bold and versatile actress who took on unconventional roles. Aside from being regarded as one of the finest actors in the history of Indian cinema, Nutan was also crowned Miss India in 1951. Starting as a child actress in 1950, she received recognition for her naturalistic acting. By the late 1950s, she had become a household name. Her accolades include a record five Filmfare Awards for Best Actress and a Padma Shri, awarded by the Indian Government.

Amitabh Bachchan (born October 11, 1942) is an Indian film actor. Widely recognised as one of the greatest actors of all time, he is among the most accomplished and influential actors in the history of Indian cinema. Bachchan's dominance in the Indian film industry starting in the early 70s as the "angry young man" of Hindi cinema led the French director François Truffaut to describe him as a "one-man industry". Bachchan has won numerous major awards in his career, including six National Film Awards (four for Best Actor), and sixteen Filmfare Awards (in addition to a record 42 nominations overall). Bachchan has also worked as a playback singer, film producer and television presenter, and was an elected member of the Indian Parliament from 1984 to 1987.

Trilok Kapoor (11 February 1912 – 23 September 1988) was an Indian actor and a member of the Kapoor family who worked in Bollywood films. He was the younger brother of actor Prithviraj Kapoor. Trilok was born as the second son of Dewan Basheshwarnath Kapoor in a Punjabi family. Like his brother Prithviraj Kapoor he entered the budding Hindi film industry (Bollywood) in the 1930s and was one of the most commercially successful actors of the era.[1] Born in the Kapoor Haveli in Peshawar, he moved to Calcutta and then to Mumbai. His bungalow in Union Park, Chembur, is one of the last remaining bungalows in the area, now renamed Trilok Kapoor Marg. Kapoor had 2 sons, Vicky Kapoor and Vijay Kapoor. Vicky Kapoor was a lawyer & politician and Vijay Kapoor was a film director

Nana Palshikar was an Indian actor who appeared in over 80 Hindi films. He made his film debut in 1935 with Dhuwandhar, and went on to play character roles in both Hindi mainstream and arthouse films. He was also cast in small parts in a few international productions such as Maya, The Guru and Gandhi.
